About Us

Anne M. Mauldin Convy is a law partner at Convy & Harding. She is very experienced in a wide range of criminal, domestic, and civil matters, including wills, trusts, estates, and juvenile commitment hearings. She is qualified by the Office of the Executive Secretary of the Supreme Court of Virginia as a guardian ad litem for children in domestic matters and as a guardian ad litem for incapacitated adults. In addition, she is qualified by the Criminal Indigent Defense Council to handle felony and misdemeanor cases before the Virginia courts. She is licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Virginia and is a member of the Bar of the Supreme Court of the United States. 


Prior to entering private practice, Mrs. Convy was a staff attorney for Blue Ridge Legal Services, Inc. Her primary role was representation of domestic violence victims in all trial courts in eight jurisdictions in the Shenandoah Valley. Mrs. Convy graduated from the Regent University School of Law, where she was a member of the Executive Committee for the Alternative Dispute Resolution Board and represented Regent at multiple law school competitions. She also received her Bachelor's Degree in Music from George Mason University, where she appeared in numerous public performances.


W. Andrew Harding is a law partner at Convy & Harding, PLC. He has significant experience in the areas of civil litigation, criminal law, family law, appellate practice, and landlord/tenant law. Additionally, he is qualified as a guardian ad litem for children in domestic matters. Mr. Harding has extensive experience from traffic offenses to major felonies, has appeared before the appellate courts of Virginia on numerous occasions, and argued before the Virginia Supreme Court. Mr. Harding was the 26th Judicial Circuit Representative to the Bar Council, the governing body of the Virginia State Bar, a member of the Board of Directors of the Virginia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (VACDL), and the past President of the Harrisonburg/Rockingham County Bar Association. He is licensed to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia and is a member of the Bar of the Supreme Court of the United States.


Before beginning his private practice, Mr. Harding worked in the Harrisonburg/Rockingham County Commonwealth's Attorneys' Office as an Assistant Commonwealth Attorney and was a staff attorney at Blue Ridge Legal Services, Inc. and the Legal Aid Society of Eastern Virginia. Mr. Harding graduated from Washington & Lee University School of Law, where he was a finalist in the appellate practice competition. He graduated with distinction from the Political Science Honors Program at the University of Washington at Seattle and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
